1. Firstly
You have to take a waste newspaper, pencil, colours (watercolours and oil pastel) and gum. Then one can tear half one side of the newspaper and roll it systematically. After rolling the newspaper to the last end of the paper.
Paste the tip of the paper with gum. After pasting, it will stick and does not open. Now, make 4-5 bars similar to the first one with the newspaper. After completing all the sticks. Measure them and make their size equal.
Now, take a paintbrush and try to colour them. colour one bar with orange, white, green, and two sticks brown. Directly paste the two brown sticks firmly, and paste them on the paper. After pasting the two brown sticks on plain white paper, then paste the orange sticker on the top, the white stick in the middle, and the green stick at the bottom.
After pasting all the sticks make a circle between the white lines with 24 straight inter-cutting lines inhibited in it. It will make the Indian National Flag with waste material.
2. Secondly
Through waste material, one can make a hat coloured in the Indian Flag shade. Material required is waste newspaper, watercolours, paintbrush, tape, and glue. First, take the newspaper and make a big open circle with it. And paste the end of the connecting newspaper with glue or tape.
Now colour the outside of the paper with green colour. Now, make a similar circle with the paper and paint it white but do not forget to make a circle with 24 lines in it at the front face of the hat.
At last, make a similar third circle with the paper and colour it orange. This will create a tricolour Indian National Flag with waste material for the kids.
3. Thirdly
One more craft activity for kids that can be done with the usage of waste material is that one can make a dress with the waste newspaper. The size of the dress must be of a kind shape and size. Then, one can colour that newspaper dress in the tricolour of the Indian National Flag,i.e., saffron, white and green.
After colouring it and making it dry for some time, it will be easy to wear, and kids can wear that dress and even the hat described above. This will create a kid to have a full-fledged dress of the Indian National colour, and it will be more attractive to people.

Now divide the register pages into three portions or three halves, further, after dividing the pages into three sections. Now colour the first section of pages into saffron colour, paint the next section with white colour and give a gist of blue on it. Lastly, paint the end section with green colour. You can even make a lamp from waste paper by pasting the ends of the paper and making a semicircle stick to hold the lamp and paste it on the top of the lamp and colour the lamp in the tri-colour, i.e., an Indian National Flag and after making it properly.
