#2. Bend your toes, place your knees apart below the hip, and place your arms straight to the floor.

#3. Now exhale slowly and arch the back towards the sky.

#4. Without any strain, release your head towards the floor.

#5. Finally, come back to the tabletop position while inhaling.

#6. Remember to hold the pose for 6 to 7 seconds.

Sukhasana – Easy Pose

This is a very basic pose that beginners can also do, and it helps in staying calm.

Steps to follow:

#1. Sit on a Yoga mat with crossed legs and a straight back.

#2. Stay in the straight position and place both your hands on the knees.

#3. Keep your head, spine and neck constantly straight.

#4. Close your eyes, look forward, keep your spine straight, and breathe. Keep doing this Yoga pose for one or two minutes.

#5. Take deep breaths in a relaxed position and repeat the same at least 5 to 6 times.

Vrikshasana – Tree Pose

This Yoga pose helps you to imbibe peace and balance and grace the qualities of a tree.

Steps to follow:

#1. Firstly, stand in a mountain pose, with both of your hands kept straight on either side of your body, and also keep your back straight.

#2. Shift all the weight of your body on the right foot, and slowly pick up your left foot and place it on the right inner thigh.

#3. Stretch out your hands and join them above your head.

#4. Gaze, breathe and stand still in the same position for at least 30 seconds.

#5. Lower your hands to their position, also lower your left foot on the ground.

#6. Repeat the same process with the right foot.

Bhujangasana – Cobra Pose

This pose helps to relax and stretch the pelvic muscles, the stomach and the back.

Steps to follow:

#1. Place hands on either side of your body, lie flat on your stomach on the Yoga mat.

#2. With the support of your hands, pull your shoulders towards the spine, and lift your body into a cobra pose.

#3. Take a deep breath while lifting your chest, body, face and abdomen.

#4. Stay comfortable in this for 15 to 30 seconds.

#5. Exhale and slowly return to your original position.

#6. You can repeat the same process 6 to 7 times.

Baddha Konasana – Butterfly Pose

The butterfly pose helps to stretch and increase the circulation of blood in the lower body parts.

Steps to follow:

#1. Sit with a straight spine on a Yoga mat.

#2. Fold your legs with both the feet touching each other, and hold them firmly with your hands.

#3. Push your feet downwards in a relaxed manner while exhaling.

#4. It would look like the wings of a butterfly, so keep pushing them downwards gently.

#5. Continue this Asana in a relaxed manner for about 5 to 10 minutes.

#6. When you are done, take a deep breath, slowly exhale and relax.

Savasana – Corpse Pose

This pose is one of the most relaxing Yoga poses for any individual. It is mostly practised at the very end of any Yoga session.

Steps to follow:

#1. Lie flat on your back on the Yoga mat, keep your hands six inches away from your body and keep the palms facing upside.

#2. Your feet should be in a drop open position; keep your legs and knees relaxed and close your eyes.

#3. Exhale all the stress of your body by breathing in and out.

#4. Put all the weight of your body on the ground.

#5. Continue this Asana for 15 minutes until your mind and body aren’t relaxed.
