This is a patriotic song written in Hindi by the poet Pradeep and composed by C.Ramchandra. This song is dedicated to the Indian soldiers who died during the Sino-Indian war in 1962. It was sung by the great singer Lata Mangeshkar. This song was performed live for the first time after the two months of the war on republic day, i.e., on 26th January 1963, by Mangeshkar.

The song was performed live at the National Stadium in New Delhi in the presence of President Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. It is considered to be one of the most popular patriotic songs and is often performed at public events and gatherings in India. It is a Hindi song from the Bollywood film Upkar. It was written by Gulshan Kumar Mehta and composed by Kalyanji- Anandji. This song was picturised on Manoj Kumar in the film and earned him the nickname Mr. Bharat. This song praises the land of India as it says that the land of his country yields gold, diamond, and pearl, comparing the farm produce with precious gems.

#3. Sare Jahan Se Acha

It is formally known as “Taranah-e-Hindi” which means the anthem of the people of Hindustan. It is an Urdu language patriotic song written by poet Muhammad Iqbal. He wrote it in the ghazal style of Urdu poetry.

The poem he wrote was published in the weekly journal Ittehad on 16th August 1904. It was publicly recited for the first time by Iqbal in the following year. He publicly recited this poem at Government College, Lahore, British India, which is now in Pakistan.

This song quickly became an anthem to oppose the British Raj. It later got published in 1924 in the Urdu book Bang-i-Dara. This song became popular and remained popular but only in India.
