Apart from the routine schedule, the food timetable for kids is also very important to watch because, at this age, they need proper supplements for better growth. Here are a few meal ideas for kids.

Start: Start your kid’s day with a glass of hot water with a few overnight soaked dry fruits such as almonds.

Breakfast: For breakfast, make some healthy and filling food as they will be more hungry at this point. They can be any home-cooked meal available and comfortable for parents to make.

Lunch: For lunch, it’s just the same. Prepare anything available to you but make sure your kid is getting the necessary protein.

Snacks: Give your children a glass of milk along with some snacks. You can switch between healthy fruits to chocolates as they will be extremely happy.

Dinner: For dinner, keep the food extremely light and simple that’s easy to digest. Make them drink adequate amounts of water throughout the day.

Points to Keep in Mind

While preparing food, few points to keep in mind are:

#1. Make kid’s food less spicy.

#2. Make sure the food is fresh.

#3. Avoid packaged foods as much as possible.

#4. Give your kids equal amounts of carbs, protein, and healthy fats.

#5. Do not make the same food frequently. Switch to different options to not bore your kid.

#6. If they demand some unhealthy food, make it once in a while but do not let that become a habit.

#7. Make sure they eat a good amount of fruits.

#8. Try to use organic ingredients and a good amount of greens in your dishes.

Conclusion

Be friendly with your kids and involve them in preparing their timetable, talk to them, and ask them how they want it to be. Stick it in the places where your kids can see it. Time tables must help shape them up but in no way, force them to do it. At the start, guide them on what to do, and in a few days, your children will follow the timetable on their own.
