Being from a tech background I really wanted my son Mathew and daughter Larissa to also get interested in STEM fields but I was not able to find any sort of classes that could both teach them and also be fun. I really feel guilty that I could not devote enough time to them to teach them any of these activities. In fact, just getting all of the stuff in the inventor kit was so convenient! It’s all so much fun that at times I’m tempted to solve the problems myself..
Manpreet was always interested in taking his toys apart and playing with the motors and other small parts. I bought him an expensive RC Car and in just a week he had taken it apart and it was such a waste. I bought him a mechanical set which has motors and lights and circuit boards but, he was not interested in it much. But with The Real School, he’s got a kit and more importantly, he has a personal mentor for each project that guides him through the entire process.
All of Ali’s teachers at school complain that he is distracted and very naughty, but I have noticed that Ali is actually a really good student and does like learning new things. But the problem is that the way they teach him at school is really boring and he’s not interested in the subjects. In The Real School he’s constantly being challenged by his mentor and that keeps him engaged. I really like that he’s learning so much and is happy doing it too.
Gaurav has always been a shy child ever since KG, and his teachers at school have never been able to build connect with him. Because of that he’s never really interacted with them. In Real School he interacts with one mentor and their sole focus is on him. I think that’s the only way that he can learn. And he’s learning so much more than any of his friends..
I made an emergency mobile charger and I think it’s awesome. It can work anywhere under water, in outer space and I was very happy to finally make a working model obviously with Niraj sir’s help. I am eagerly waiting to do my next project.
