In 5th grade’s science book, I read about planets in the chapter our ‘Solar System.’ There was this line,’ Life existed on Mars million years ago,’ which fascinated me the most. I got curious, if life really existed on this planet Mars, were the inhabitants looked the same as us or were they like Yoda?

I asked my father the same question and to satisfy my curiosity he told me yes, life really existed on mars and on the next day he gave me a printed page of red coloured land where there was a tiny organism’s picture.

Even though now I know that no human’s life existence evidence was suggested in the book and they had been referring it to microorganisms. But my imagination to picture the type of creature and life on that planet intrigued me to search and read more about it.

I developed an interest in space, galaxies, black holes, paradoxes and I still read about them. Elon Musk’s plan to colonize Mars or China’s idea of mining the moon, I have always been inquisitive to read about such.

Cogitating about the Universe and Solar System is vital to extrapolate the questions about the earth we are living in. And our thirst for curiosity to comprehend more about our habitant propels us to study more about it.

There are still a lot of unexplored things about the Solar System we are curious to know. As like,

  • Can we ever control gravity?
  • What about our 9th planet, where is it?
  • How did the moon form?
